Our senior partner Mr. Kursat was born in Paphos/Cyprus in 1947 and following his secondary education he studied law in England and was qualified from MIDDLE TEMPLE, Inns of Court, as a Barrister at Law in the year 1973 

Mr. Kursat completed his pupilage in a legal Chamber in Nicosia and in early 1974 was admitted to both Bar’s of Cyprus and TRNC.He has been practicing the legal profession since then. 

Mr. Kursat is the Chartered President of the Nicosia Surici Lions Club and also one of the founders of The Mediation Association of Nicosia. He is, at present, the Vice President of this Association. 

A short time ago Mr. Kursat headed a Committee, which undertook to prepare a draft Bill on Mediation. The Draft was prepared and is now before the High Court for approval which when it is approved Mediation will be integrated into our legal system. 

Since the submission of a piece plan by Koffi Annan, the Secretary General to the United Nations, to the leaders of the Turkish and Greek sides of Cyprus, Turkish Parliamentarians as well as almost all T.V and radio Channels in North Cyprus have been inviting our senior partner Mr. Kursat to advise on the legal aspects of the Plan. 

Akan was born in Nicosia on June the 15^th, 1974. After completing his Secondary education at the Bayraktar Turk Maarif College he went to England where he was admitted to study law at Buckingham University. He was graduated from this University in the year 2000 with LL.B Honours title. He has done his Pupilage with Talat Kursat & Co legal Chambers, after which he became a partner to the Firm. 

Miss. Kahraman was born in Nicosia on December 27, 1978. Following her 6 year secondary education at the Nicosia Turkish Maarif Collage she was registered with the ‘9 Eylul University’ of Izmir/Turkey. She was qraduated from the Law Faculty of this University in the year 2000 and following her succassful pupilage with the Talat Kursat & Co legal chamber she was admitted to the Bar of the TRNC in 2001. Miss Kahraman is a young and enerjetic lady and specialises in criminal litigation matters.
